But let’s dig deeper. Reaching those schools doesn’t always equate to your intelligence. While it’s true that reaching those schools requires hard work, discipline and a bit of luck, intelligence is a much broader concept, that people usually miss interpret.

Intelligent people thrive on creativity and innovation but not on credentials. But let’s just not ignore the privilege either. Access to work in a world-class institute can also reflect opportunity and not just pure reflection of intellect. So what really defines intelligence ? – It’s how we adapt and learn to tackle challenges, whether you’ve got a fancy degree or not.
Think of intelligence as a plant – which requires fertile soil ( Right people) and nutrients and sunlight hitting it at the right angle ( Right time ) with water ( Hard work) which makes it grow. You miss any one and the plant wilts.
So, intelligence? It’s not a gift you’re handed—it is what blooms when you’re surrounded by the right influences, seize the moment, and grind it out.
That’s a formula worth betting on.
